What is it?

Secure Hotspot is a Windows only feature that allows you to create a secure Wifi hotspot right on your computer (if you have a compatible wireless adapter). While Connected to Windscribe, you can allow others to connect to this hotspot and take advantage of your secured connection, without having them install Windscribe on their device.

Why should I care?

You and a friend are on a restrictive network, but only you have Windscribe installed. Now you can share your connection with your friend and allow them to access the Internet with no restrictions. You can also connect other Internet-enabled devices like TVs, game consoles, etc, which are not supported by any of our applications.

How do I use it?

Go into Windscribe Preferences -> Share and enable "Secure Hotspot".

Choose the network name and pick a password, and click OK.

Find the Wifi network on another device and connect with the password that you chose above.

All the activity on the 2nd device will now be proxied through one of Windscribe's servers.
